Trckr Time Tracker Updated Aug 7, 2026

Install and sign in

One-time setup, about 90 seconds.

The Trckr sign-in screen asking for your work email
The sign-in screen Trckr signs you in with a code sent to your Armasourcing email. There is no password to remember or lose. You stay signed in afterwards, so you will normally see this screen only once.

Go to tracker.armasourcing.com/install and click Download for Windows.

Run the installer. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning the first time. Click More info, then Run anyway. This happens because the app is new, not because anything is wrong.

Open Trckr and enter your @armasourcing.com email.

Check that inbox for a 6-digit code and type it in. You are in.

It updates itself You never need to reinstall for a new version. Trckr checks for updates when it starts and every few hours after. When one is ready you will see a banner, and clicking Install takes a few seconds.

The four tabs

The whole app is four tabs. That is all there is to learn.

The Trckr tab bar: Timer, Tasks, Screenshots and Support
TabWhat it is for
TimerStart and stop your work, see today and this week at a glance.
TasksPick what you are working on, and add tasks when you need them.
ScreenshotsReview the screenshots taken during your shift.
SupportRaise a ticket when something is wrong.
Team chat has moved Older versions had a Chat tab inside Trckr. Chat now lives in one place only, Townhall, so you are not checking two inboxes. Nothing was lost in the move.

Your daily flow

In practice you touch Trckr twice a day: once when you start, once when you finish.

The Trckr timer running, showing hours today, the day ring and the week strip
The timer screen The big number is your session. The ring beside it fills as you move through your day. Underneath, three numbers: hours today, progress against your week, and your day streak. The line at the top shows which project and task you are on.

The timer is per project Pick the client and task before you start. If you work for two clients, your hours never mix between them.
  • 2
Activity is input, not output The percentage comes from keyboard and mouse input while tracking. It is a presence signal, not a productivity score, and idle is shown separately rather than folded into your total.
  • 3
Pause and the 30-minute break Pause stops the clock for a moment. The break button books a proper 30 minutes and puts it back on automatically, so you do not have to remember.
  • 4
Today, week and streak Hours so far today, your running total against the weekly target, and consecutive days tracked. Check it before Friday, not after.

Pick your project and task at the top of the Timer tab, so your hours land in the right place.

Type what you are doing in the box under the timer. One short line is enough. This is what your manager sees next to your hours.

Press play. The state changes to Tracking and the dot turns green.

Press stop when you finish. If you forget, see "I forgot to start tracking" below. It is fixable.

Keyboard shortcuts

Ctrl + Shift + S starts or stops tracking without opening the window. Handy when you are already deep in a call.

Track as you go, not at the end of the day Reconstructing your hours from memory at 6pm is how hours get lost. Start the timer when you start working, and your record takes care of itself.
4

Tasks and projects

A project is usually a client. A task is the piece of work inside it.

The Tasks tab in Trckr
The Tasks tab Your projects come from your assignment, so you should already see the right ones. Pick a task before you start the timer and your hours are attributed correctly with no cleanup later.

Creating a task

If the thing you are about to do is not listed, add it. Use a name a manager would recognise, for example Confirmation calls rather than calls. Vague task names are the main reason reports need chasing.

Working for more than one client Switch the project when you switch client, even for a short stretch. Trckr splits your hours per client automatically, and that split is what billing and your payslip are built on.
5

Screenshots

Trckr takes periodic screenshots while the timer runs. Never when it is stopped.

The Screenshots tab in Trckr
The Screenshots tab Everything captured during your shift, newest first. If you use two monitors, both are captured. You can open any image to see it full size.
Deleting a screenshot also deletes that minute of your tracked time This surprises people, so it is worth stating plainly. If a screenshot caught something personal, deleting it is the right call and you will not be in trouble. Just know the matching minute of paid time goes with it. The cleaner habit is to stop the timer before anything personal.
6

Breaks and idle

Breaks are yours. The rules exist so your hours stay accurate, not to police you.

The 30-minute break button

Press Take a 30-min break and Trckr pauses cleanly, with no screenshots and no activity counted. Come back early and the unused minutes stay available for later that day.

Idle time

If you stop touching the keyboard and mouse for a stretch while tracking, that time is recorded as idle. Idle still counts as tracked time, it just lowers your activity percentage.

Low activity is not automatically a problem Calls, reading, and watching a training video all show low activity while being real work. Nobody is disciplined over a number on its own. If a pattern comes up, your manager will ask you about it before anything else happens.

If your computer sleeps

Trckr notices the gap and does not count the sleeping time. You do not need to do anything.

Your dashboard, in a browser

Everything the app shows you is also on the web, with more history.

What you are tracking The client and task the clock is running against, so hours land on the right account. Stop ends the shift; Pause holds it.
  • 2
Today, at a glance Tracked time, activity, idle and progress against your goal. Idle is shown separately rather than hidden inside your total.
  • 3
Activity timeline Each bar is an hour of your day. Gaps are hours you were not tracking, not hours held against you.
  • 4
This week Your daily hours across the week. Use it to see where you stand before Friday, not after.
  • 5
Recent screenshots Periodic captures from tracked time only. You can review and delete any shot, and they are kept for 180 days.

Open tracker.armasourcing.com/me.html and sign in with the same email. You will find your week in detail, your hours per client, your recent screenshots, and the form to request a manual time entry.

My QA scorecard

From that page you can also open My QA scorecard, your own quality summary: tracked days, activity, and any badges you have earned. It is personal to you. Nobody else's numbers appear on it, and the link is yours alone, so do not pass it on.

Requesting time you did not track

Forgot to start the timer? Use Request manual time on that page. Give the real start and end time and a short note explaining what you were doing. Your manager approves or declines it, and you get a notification either way.

The app drawer The small grid button in the bottom-left corner of the web pages opens your other Armasourcing apps: Townhall, Onboarding, and your QA scorecard. One click, no bookmarks to hunt for.

Fixing problems

Trckr will not open

Check the system tray by the clock first, since it usually just minimised there. If it is genuinely gone, reinstall from the install page. Reinstalling never loses your data, because your hours live on the server, not on your laptop.

An "Offline" banner that will not clear

Your hours are safe. Trckr stores them locally and uploads them once the connection returns. If it persists for more than an hour, try switching network, for example from wifi to mobile hotspot, and if that fixes it, tell Support so we can look at the network side.

I forgot to start tracking

Use Request manual time on your dashboard. Be accurate about the times and say what you were doing. Manual entries are normal, but a lot of them in a row will prompt a conversation, so start the timer where you can.

SmartScreen warns every time I run the installer

Expected for now, and safe. Click More info, then Run anyway. It only appears for the installer, not for daily use.

My Screenshots tab is empty

Screenshots only exist for time you actually tracked, so an empty tab usually means the timer was not running. If you know it was running, raise a ticket in Support.

The app icon looks blank in my taskbar

An old version had a broken icon. Update to the latest version and it comes back. If Windows still shows the old blank one, unpin Trckr and pin it again, which clears the icon Windows had cached.

10

What we capture, plainly

You should know exactly what this app does. Nothing here is hidden in a policy nobody reads.

What Trckr records

  • Time you tracked, and which project and task it belongs to
  • Counts of keyboard and mouse activity, so an activity percentage can be worked out
  • Periodic screenshots, only while the timer is running
  • Which applications were in use during tracked time

What it never records

  • What you type. Activity is counted as events. The content is never captured.
  • Anything while the timer is stopped. No screenshots, no activity, nothing at all.
  • Your personal accounts and files, unless they happen to be on screen while you are tracking, which is why the stop button matters.

Where it lives and how long

On Armasourcing servers, with screenshots kept for 180 days and then deleted. Your manager and the QA team can see it. Clients see hours and activity for their own work, never your screenshots.

Your rights

You can view everything held about you on your dashboard, delete any screenshot yourself, and ask for a copy of your data at any time. Full detail is on the privacy page.

The one thing that ends an engagement Faking activity with a mouse jiggler, an auto-clicker, or anything similar. Trckr detects it, and it is treated as falsifying a record rather than a performance issue. Everything else on this page is a conversation, not a consequence.
